Incorrect. Trance came first, before house, before techno, before progressive. For example, the natives Aboriginal Australians have played trance music for the past 25,000 years, in their ceremonies. Same with Native Americans. The trance music we play now is mostly synthesized, but it is still the same concept.

Once again, incorrect. Trance came long before the 90's. If you look at groups like Pink Floyd who were the pioneers of modern day trance, you will see that Trance had existed before techno. So once again, Trance started it all.

That can be said about any type of music. Thats how music evolves, influences from all different genres. Trance as a genre of dance music started in the early 90's. Im not talkin about Aborigines, Pink Floyd, Meatloaf or whatever. House is the original form of what we consider today to be dance music. House and Techno as genres of dance music were around before Trance. Anyway Trance is dead on its feet, with the majority of it being commercialized tripe.
