a zoo and an animal reserve are two different things. id rather them be in the later. free roaming open space, sure thye both have chain link fences but its alot better for the animal i think. and ye poachers are retarded -.-

That happens a lot in the wild. The cubs are so small and helpless that if the dad feels peckish, he can devour one. He doesn't have the nurturing, protective instinct of the mother lioness.

No, the reason the males sometimes eat the cubs incase the cub poses a threat to his pride when it matures.
They also eat the cubs incase the lioness has been mating with a non-alpha lion

it is common with alot of animals. The father will find it a threat to have another male in the pride, and they usually will kill male offspring to keep them as alpha.

I'm actually astounded to see a zoo that still has enclosures like this. But then, I'm from Missouri, and we have one of the best zoos in the Nation, with more free-roaming kind of habitats and integrated species. But, then again, the mother and cub enclosure might be temporary, until the cub is older and not so utterly dependent on its mother. They're probably kept out of public view for now, thus the small cage.

The mother lions and father lions kill any cub that isn't going to live. The cub is albino, that's why they kill it.

They aren't technically albino. Albinos lack any pigment at all - that's why they call them white lions rather than albinos. It's almost impossible for them to survive in the wild, though. They are unable to blend in and stalk prey - the prey sees them long before they can pounce.
