no offense, but do you know what these motors are capable of? Its a built motor from the factory, people are seeing 500 rwhp with a ported eaton, a SC swap like kenne bell or whipple and upping the boost they can easily see 600+ rwhp, on stock motor. Your motor would need to have a forged rotating assembly before you try to push 20 + psi of boost, but these motors with an 8.5:1 CR, cast iron block, and forged crank, rods and pistons can take it.

Oh I probably know what this motor is capable of just as much if not more than most people. I've been helping a buddy with his 99 cobra. Same engine. Its not too uncommon to see cobras with almost 700hp. All im saying is that there has to be more than a supercharger upgrade to reach that point... someone seems to think otherwise....

Thats the thing though, a 99 cobra is a 4.6 4 valve also but they are totally different engines, a 99 cobra has an alum. block and a higher static compression ratio. You can't run high boost on those stock motors. I've seen 03/04 cobras take over 1000 hp on stock motor however. But, you don't have to take my word for it, just look on the kenne bell website, the info is right there for terminators. Another user on u tube is running a 2.2L kb (a smaller blower) with torco and he made 643 rwhp.

I see. I did not know the blocks were made of different material. I'll take your word for it. The 1999 cobra has actually given us a ton of trouble. August of '99, Ford halted the sale of any Cobras. They recalled and replaced the intake manifold, engine management computer, as well as the entire exhaust system beginning from the catalytic converter and back. Unfortunately the one i've been working on still has problems. It's balls fast, but iffy on reliability. I'll take your word.

you know im a honda fan and i drive a acura and this mustang i must say is stupid FAST but i would bet my life savings that there is a 4cyl import out there some where that will dust him doesent gota be a honda could be MISTsu OR SUBI still it can be done im not a fan of fords but this stang is DOPE but it can be beat :)
