Wasn't it obvious? He managed to get more leverage on the ball by doing a front flip, which means he can throw the ball further, which means if you have a throw on in the middle of the pitch he can throw the ball into the penalty area, i would saya that is a pretty useful tool in a football game!

Only thing is the guy is nearly sitting on the ground when the ball leaves his hands, so game legality depends on whether someone has to be standing up straight when they take a throw on or not, according to the rules.

I don't know where you get your set of rules, but this kind of throw is allowed. They don't care what you do before the throw as long as the finishing position is legitimate.

I agree, the finishing position is as far as im aware what is relevant in terms of the football rules. In this clip the guy is nearly sitting on the floor when the ball leaves his hands, so presuming a player is supposed to be standing when the ball is thrown, this particular throw breaks the rules.
