| I think that as it never stops raining to show that they have alot of bad memories in seattle. Then when he tries to run away, seattle turns into a wave, drowning him probably to show that he cant seem to run away. Then the ending when his friends and him make it to a new town to show that his friends helped him to a new beginning. Thats how i interpret the video anyway. |

| this song and video is so deep i think the anchor represented the troubles and problems they had and they just held up and got thru and tackled it head on instead of using the van and making it easier but actually looking at the problems and fixing it |

| I think Seattle is symbolic of his problems,and he tries to run from them. The Rain is his hopes that it might just go away over time. But when it takes away Seattle he realizes that his real issue is that he is stuck to an anchor. But his friends together with him can carry his problems and he realizes he doesn't mind Seattle City... or that how I see it. |
