Does the earphone jack accept only the earphones supplied? Or will it fit "normal" earphones? Sometimes the jack only accepts the supplied earphones and I am curious about this one.

Well it turns out the model I am getting is very similar but with the lower quality ear buds. I hope what you said is correct for both 4 GB models. I think I am referring to the 2008 model.
