| Even if you upgrade the MacBook to full 4 GB RAM and 2.4GHz processor, it's still not fair to say it's just like a 13" MacBook Pro. The reason is the display is superior in the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air (they use the same one) and a downgraded one for MacBook. Also, you can't get 6 MB Level 2 cache + 512 MB VRAM (& dual graphics!) like with the Pros. Those make a huge difference. The fastest MacBook is 2.4GHZ but Pros are 2.4, 2.53 or 2.8. The new MacBooks are still great machines though! |
