Point taken. I will concede that Fabregas has not won too many personal accolades except for the PFA Young player last year. However remember that Fabregas is only 21 and he is the mainstay of a relatively young squad at Arsenal. Anyway thanks for contributing to the debate, Marco18887!

it's true that messi isn't really a classical playmaker, who plays in a central position. But nevertheless he got the ability to coordinate his team's offensive with his great vision. He also creates much space for his team mates with his speed dribblings. I think you can call him playmaker, but maybe not in the classical sense, that's right.

This is a wonderful video. The best pass of the whole lot is probably Kaka's assist to Crespo in the CL Final 2005. Such amazing vision and technique to play a swerving throughball...simply breathtaking.
At Arsenal we are lucky to have Fabregas, who is among the top playmakers in the world today. I would say the best around the world are Xavi, Scholes, Deco, Pirlo, Fabregas, Xabi Alonso, Riquelme, Diego, Juninho These are just central players
