Nope. They are both demanding but when I dingy race, I'm at the cocktail tent by 17:00 and sleep 8 hours in MY bed.
When I'm offshore I sleep in a harness and foulies, 2 hours @ a time. But race just as hard as when we dingy race. After a week or more, when you finish you feel hung over and sick for a few days. Do you dingy race until you feel sick for a few days????

if you sail both for the same amount of time, then you'll fell alot more tired in dinghy, and i was talking about HIKING not trapezing, when your legs feel like there on fire. Yacht racing might be tiring over a long period of time but dinghy racing gets tiring in a matter of minutes.

I race them all, dingies, keel, sleds, beachcats. Whereever they pay me to go. I'll see you on the water when ever you find the time to actually get out there.

Do you sail? Or do you just run your mouth? You never mention any experiance to back your blathering about how great dingies are. I admit that big boats get the glory and small boats make the sailor, you have yet to mention if you have been out there.
As a grad prix sailor, I can give respect and insight re:differances between the two.
You should probably take a pill and go find out what offshore is about before you embarrass yourself any further, If a skipper will even have you.

I agree Dinghy sailing gets really tiring in high winds due to the hiking out and tapeeze the movement during tacks ECT. But DO NOT think yacht sailing is NOT tiring i have done both i own a boat and am a CYA instructor and if you think yacht sailing is not tiring you are sorely mistaken

i dont think there not tiring, actually i think there probably exauhsting offshore, but if you would compare them to sports Dinghy racing would be like weight lifting because of the hiking, and yacht racing would be like running because you're never stopping
