Most people had Cotto winning the first 4 to five rounds. Floyd is a retired boxer, he does not need a mention anymore, he's past tense. Cotto would have Hatton.

You obviously didnt watch the fight! Cotto was clearly winning the first half of the fight landing great combos. It Margos phenominal chin that was the difference. By the 11th Cotto had given everything! A great bout between these two warriors and i hope to see them both go on the great things. Mayweather was not only too scared to fight Cotto - he was also shook of Margo! He turned down the biggest purse of his career at the time! Let him go wreastle or rap!

Cotto's performance against Margo in the first 5 rounds would have been enough against most other fighters but Margo's chin is pure granite and survived and won a great fight.
It's true Mayweather avoided Cotto and Margo. Not many know this or perhaps do not like to admit it but he dodged them both.

mayweather would probably outbox him, BUT, he would possible step into deep territory, same with Margarito. I don't think he would lose necessarily or get knocked out, but he would be tested like never before and his perfect record would start looking further away. I think he picks his fights with his head, not his heart, opposite of Suga' Shane!!!

Someone somewhere remarked in an article how cold and machine-like Cotto is. I love that about him. He is so stoic, so controlled, so dignified (even in loss) that he made a fan out of me. I cannot wait to see his next fight. Even against Margarito, Cotto was hitting harder and showed more skill. Margarito simply has a tougher body.
