I think BendiktBS's comment has been rated badly because of the insults, not because 'the stupid Germans' couldn't stand his opinion. If you're fluent in English and understand the original - good for you. If you're not - count yourself lucky if there is a dubbed or subtitled version aired in your country because LB is a great show. I like both versions - original and dubbed - but I don't go around insulting people for prefering one or the other.

Ist ja gut, ich wollte auch niemanden beleidigen. Aber ich bleib dabei, dass es schade ist, dass man im deutschen Fernsehen absolut nichts im Originalton sehen kann. SF und ORF haben meist Zweikanalton (LB mit Untertiteln). Wie gesagt, ich versteh auch nicht alles aber ich hab auch nichts gegen Untertitel gesagt. Und Oliver Kalkofe ist nicht zu vergleichen mit Matt Lucas.

It's RIDICULOUS not to know that in Germany, it's the duty of each school to teach English. But, in fact, you cant force a whole country to speak a foreign language.And if the population do not want subtitles, than the film industry has no other choice than translate their films. So far...
