Pok émon RBY: Level 100 Pokémon before Misty

Video Description:
First of all, since you have probably read the first few seconds of the video already, I can say this: If you already know what to do, or know enough about the games to follow along without instructions, you can watch the video now. If not, continue reading.
First, go to the exact spot I was when I started the file. Press down once and IMMEDIATELY press Start. If you did it right, you should bring up the menu before the Trainer notices you. Teleport away. This works with any trainer whose line of sight (where they will challenge you) stretches across
the entire screen and you can walk into that area from in front of them (kinda hard to explain, but search for "Mew Glitch" and you'll get a few examples). You can also use Fly, Dig, and Escape Rope (the latter two, of course, only in caves). Now, you cannot open the menu or interact with any peopl
e. Go up to any trainer that walks up to you to battle (if you walk directly in front of one or talk to one, the game freezes). Defeat the Trainer, but before you do, lower the attack of the last Pokémon he/she has by SIX LEVELS. This means use Growl effectively six times. Once their attack can't
go down anymore, defeat it and you can press Start again. Go back to the area where you flew/teleported/dug/etc. away from the first trainer and the menu will pop up. Don't do anything except press B and you'll face a level 1 Pokémon. Catch it (Mew, even at level 1, is extremely dificult to catch
, so that's hwy I weakened it). After you do this, find a Pokémon that will give less than 54 EXP and win the battle. The Pokémon will be at level 100 now. Now to explain this glitch. The normal Mew Glitch doesn't lower the attack of the opponent's monster, resulting in a level 7 Pokémon. Howev
er, someone found that the level of the Pokémon you get is the same as the level of the attack of the final Pokémon of the opponent. Since you lowered the attack 6 times, the level of the Pokémon you face is lowered by 6, to 1. You can get Pokémon of up to level 13 this way if that Pokémon know
s an attack that raises it's attack stat, like Swords Dance, but who cares about level 13? Now, since RBY never had any real coding for level 1 Pokémon, the way the EXP works for certain Pokémon (this glitch only works for Mew and Pokémon with three stages of evolution that aren't Butterfree, Be
edril, or Dragonite. This means no easy level 100 Lapras or Mewtwo or Kabutops/Omastar) makes them have negative experience. But this also makes the number wrap around to near the highest value possible (16 million + what you see on Mew's stats, enough to be at level 245). Now, the reason you want
a Pokémon that gives 50 or less EXP is that if you get too much EXP, you'll end up in positive EXP overall and grow to level 2. However, if you stay in negative EXP, it will try to grow to a level higher than 100 (246), but the game tells any Pokémon of level 101 and over to go to 100 instead. You
can experience this anotherway by doing the Cinnabar Island glitch and getting a 100+ Pokémon from it. Some more notes about the video/glitch: 1. Do not save at any time while doing this glitch. If you do, and fail to catch the Pokémon the first time, it will NOT appear when you enter the route
again, and since you've already beaten the Trainer that triggers it, it is gone forever. 2. I defeated the Trainer right before Misty before recording to train Pikachu to a level high enough to beat the other Trainer in the Gym in two hits each, as well as to survive Shellder's "onslaught". 3. The
sound at the end of the video is NOT the game freezing. It is how my converter works. Do not comment about it as your comment will be ignored and possibly deleted. Credit for the explanation goes to kirbymuncher of GameFAQs. Credit for finding the glitch goes to fefehwfheuihweq of GameFAQs. I DID
NOT FIND THIS GLITCH, NOR WOULD I KNOW HOW THE HELL IT WORKED WITHOUT AN EXPLANATION, AND IF YOU CLAIM I STOLE IT, YOU'RE A COMPLETE RETARD. And yes, this works in Yellow. I didn't make subtitles with instructions because my computer and Windows Movie Maker suck and it would probably take a much lo
nger time than just typing this up and making a title. To learn more about this and other Pokémon glitches, you can search for them on this site or Google/other search engine, or go to www.trsrockin.com Also, my quote ban endquote on more comments is now over since my computer isn't going slow an
ymore. Post away, why not?

Yes, other pokemon do appear, depending on the trainer you Teleport / Fly away from / you battle after Flying away. The route has nothing to do with it, because you have to go back to the same route as the guy you Flew from for this to work (as far as i know). I've gotten Chanseys, Charmanders, Sq
uirtles, etc. from using different people. The game can't be corrupted to my knowledge.
This is for this glitch, not the whole game. xD
Ill post the cheat on your channel
émon-obeys-you" stuff works. But for me, all Pokémon I've caught myself, not traded from any other trainers, obeys me regardless of their level(s). In Pokémon Red, for example, I now have got a Raichu, a Pidgeot, a Beedrill and a Butterfree at Level 100. All of them obeys me perfectly and I only
have the Boulder Badge (Brock) so far. In contrast, if I were to have a Pokémon at level 11+ from my Pokémon Blue game, it will not obey me until I get more badges.
