is world-famous for writing popular science books and for co-writing and presenting the award-winning 1980 television series Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, which has been seen by more than 600 million people in over 60 countries, making it the most widely watched PBS program in history.

well, if you actually understood anything about the theory of evolution, you would know that one single change would take millions of years of mutations and natural selection to occur. So of coarse ever since humans have walked the earth, they have not evolved. But we are the evolved products of the ones before us called Neanderthals. Have you ever seen a Neanderthal skull? Maybe you should take a look some time.

Oh, so you are admitting that you believe based on consensus of others that also have no clue what their talking about. How do you know all of this? If you were to talk to any African or Indian tribe they would all tell you stories of tree gods and sun gods. The bible is such a load of crap. It was clearly written by man at a time where the only way people could know anything about the universe was to take wild guesses and believe in things like....gods.

well, even scientists agree or say that "it seems our planet and actually the entire universe was 'created' having HUMAN / MAN in mind"... what does that tell you? maybe it's arrogance, but if it's true then it's no longer arrogance.... and when you say it's arrogance, who are we insulting by saying humans are different than other animals? r we insulting the monkeys, elephants, etc? i know who you're insulting when you're saying that humans are NOT different than any other animals.

I don't BELIEVE in evolution, I accept it based on evidence. And yes, we have been seeing a regular progression in brain size. We have also been seeing a regular progression in lifespan (unless you count the US where 90% of the people gorge on unhealthy foods and become obese).

The numbers are incomprehensible, really, but when he phrases it like this: "... a universe with more galaxies than people", it's even more so. It's staggering. Wish I could've met him.

We just don't know, can't you accept that? And as long as we don't know, you can't just believe something. It's a good thing to believe, but better believe in yourself, that you're going to be fine or that you'll be able to solve every problem, that faces you in your life, how about that? If you believe in god, you want to much. Face the truth, and the truth is, that we don't know. God doesn't help us to make this world a better place, it's up to us!
