You all are missing ... ( 2 months ago by hack41yt)
You all are missing the real point. The txt mes guys are record holders and the CW guys are run of the mill HAMs. Morse code beats txt'n hands down regardless of keyboard, T9, or any other form of input. The ham guys sent at roughly 20 words (based on 5 character words) per minute. "I saved a bunch of money on my car insurance" is 10 words so it should take 30 seconds to send via morse code. continued...

Say you type 120 characters per minute (VERY VERY FAST) the 44 characters and the send button should take 22.5 seconds, then the phone will establish a handshake with the tower (2 seconds), routes the call through the network and handshakes the receiving phone (2 more seconds), then the receiving phone displays new message. Under the best conditions txt msg takes 26.5 seconds and under average conditions morse takes 30 seconds.

Predictable result. That's not even particularly fast morse. Now a normal, full size, keyboard beats both. That in turn is beaten by shorthand. But frankly, the quickest way is just to TALK. If the text messager had instead just picked up his phone and CALLED, that would have been quickest.

Cool! Morse still reigns. Now you can use Mose code to type emails, Word documents, chats, even YouTube comments. My father pioneered this technology, called COMAX. Download or order on CD. No hardware needed.

There have been incidents where Ham Radio operators in hospitals who can't speak (due to comas, aneurysms, accidents, etc.) were able to tap out messages (by even squeezing someone's hand using morse code figures)!!! Incredible!!!

Long live morse code! In all honesty, I can use a morse key, better then a cell phone.

There is a huge flaw to this experiment: the phones. I surmise that one can beat the morse code operators if a PDA or full qwerty keyboard is used than a bar phone.

Here you go, fastest one first.
1. Actually talking like a real human being. 2. Using a full-size computer keyboard. 3. Morse code. 4. Texting over cell phone.

The future fastest will be thought, we will have radio chips in our brain allowing you to ask "Mom is there salad" instantly, at speed of thought, she will respond "yes" or "no" prior to verbal thought there is essence of thought, pure emotional meaningness. This will be the quickest

Impossible is a very audacious term. I believe it is possible, with a full QWERTY keyboard. I think what you mean to say is that it is not likely.

There are serious consequences to your "Theory" such as open personal thoughts. You may very well know that ANY electronic can be hacked. So at the same time a hardware hacker can find an exploit to this chip and who knows what will happen from that.
