Wow. So a person can write volumes of disgusting, hateful, racist things, and none of it matters if he's never recorded saying it out loud? How bizarre. Unfortunately for you, Paul has said and done all sorts of things that confirm his written words, like repeatedly voting against the MLK holiday and saying America was wrong to end slavery. It's cute, though, that you think you're qualified to judge his character---kind of like Bush looking into Putin's heart. That worked out pretty well.

I don't think I've ever heard him say america was wrong to end slavery. I guess I'll look into that. I don't think the Holiday thing is really that big of a deal is it. He's had pretty good explanations for everything I've heard him say so far. I'm not just going to listen to you without hearing anything racist myself and start hating Ron Paul all of a sudden.

I just looked up the slavery issue and it was pretty clear that Ron Paul did not like the way it was ended, he had no problem with it ending. He just thought they should have ended without a civil war that killed tons of people. He said they could have bought the slaves and then released them like they did in some other country. Every time I hear something bad about Ron Paul it turns out the be bullshit which is why I just believe what he says.

Yup. He said slaves should never have been freed unless and until Southern racists agreed to accept the tax dollars of non-slaveholders. Of course, Southern slaveowners would not have accepted ANY amount of money in 1861, or for decades thereafter, so we would have had another 50-100 years of slavery. And he believes the federal government should have agreed to treat human beings as furniture, as property that must be paid for like a chair at Ikea. Fuck that, and fuck him.

well, that's not really what you told me. You said he was against ending slavery period, not that he was against ending it by killing thousands of people in a civil war when every other country was able to end it non violently. I agree with him. The civil war shouldn't have happened if there was a non violent way of ending slavery. I don't think I am a racist if I have that opinion. I would rather be treated like a chair than be shot in an unnecessary war by my fellow citizens.

Nope, I said he believes "America was wrong to end slavery." Which he does. America ended slavery through the Emancipation Proclamation, Civil War, and 13th Amendment. He opposes all three. There was no nonviolent way to end slavery (the South had 4 million slaves and decided to quit the country rather than submit to a Free Soil president), and Paul knows it. His statements on the war are just more red meat for the racists in Texas who've funded and voted for him all these years.

I'm sure there are other solutions. Why would you think that Texans are racist? I find it rather offensive that you think Ron Paul is trying to be racist to gain the support of Texans. No other country on Earth had 4 million slaves owned by racists who would not have accepted ANY amount of money to free them, and would rather secede from the Union and start a war rather than even discuss the issue. I still don't think it is racist to think that there were better ways of ending slavery besides having people fight against their fellow citizens. The fact is that this issue is debatable and agreeing with Ron Paul does not make you a racist. I think there are racists everywhere but I don't think there are more of them in Texas, because there just aren't. I've been in Texas for a while and I've only met one ,who barely qualifies as a racist, so no I'm not nuts.

Public schools no, as they are controled by the state government and there for restrained by the constitution. Private business yes. If you own a business like you own a home, you should be allowed to choose who you want to do business with and who you allow in. It really has nothing to do with race only you being allowed to do business with who ever you want, without government interferring.

you're an idiot. the only unjust part of the CRA is forcing private property owners to serve people they don't want. It may be racist but the federal govt has no right to dictate to private property.
