Everybody wants to earn and to live a better life. Dr. Reddy is primarily a business man and then a philanthropist so he is doing what he should. His act of favouring rich is thus justified. Poor people must understand that to live a better life they will need more means to earn and therefore sho
uld seek ways to earn. Nobody can get rich simply by sitting at home.
What I hated the most was people are being treated on the basis of their race. That nigerian guy, for unknown reasons, was deprived of facilities that the British lady got. One can get richer if (s)he wants to but one cannot change his race. I think every body should be treated at par. I am an I
ndian and I sometimes think Indians act snobbishly.
Had nigerians been richer and more powerful, they would have got better treatment than what they are getting now. India, however, is evolving and after lying dormant for a long time, it is again making a mark internationally. Space, medicine, engineering, fashion ,films there is a long list where
India is doing gr8.
Independence provides self respect and better status in society. 'Interdependence' and not 'Dependence' is what one should look forward to. One should look forward to helping other persons to achieve common and individual goals.
My intention was never to mock poor people. The reality is what you have stated. And you have stated it very correctly. But the modern day capitalism is not about making others poor it's about making oneself rich. Today, we are lucky to be living in a world where opportunities remain available fo
r all irrespective of who one is?
Steve Jobs, (Mr. Apple) used to eat food in HariKrishna Temple, when he had no job, look what he has become. BEcause he didn't sit back and accused the rich of being unfair. He strived to become one himself.
This is why i love America and Canada, because even tho they are highly elitist, they provide their citizens with basic necessaties. North America is Godly.
