Just to clear something up. The Clutch does not engage gears. The clutch is there to disconnect the tranny from the engine. What engages the gears is the shifter. When you movie the shifter the gears move to the correct slots in the tranny for 1-2-3-4-5-6-R

So you give a LITTLE bit of gas then slip the clutch, then give more gas while releasing the clutch completely? (Just to be extra sure).

yes as you give more gas, u can release the clutch more. and to make the beginning smooth u will let the clutch slip a little aat the hook up point

So when i am at a stop about to start uphill or whatev, can I release the clutch to righ beofre the hickup point with my other foot still on the brake? I figure this gives me more time to get the car moving so I dont roll back as much. Or is i bad for my clutch? I tried the trick with using the emergency break but I stall everytime. New manual driver here lol

if your have to come to an abrupt stop than yes but if you can help it, try to shift into Neutral before you apply pressure to the breaks. you dont want to ride your breaks too much. but as soon as your in neutral, let off the clutch. my best friend learned to drive a stick before me and she drove my car last weekend and i noticed she was constantly on the clutch, even while slowing down in neautral. well i nipped that right in the butt lol

it looks like north jersey to me but i could be wrong. i live in south jersey in camden county(not camden lol) and not too many places down here look like that but from the times iv been there, it looks kinda like that. so can u just tell me if its north or south jersey?
