Of course one can take a VERY LONG TERM view and say that the Earth has been around for billions of years and it will do what it will do. BUT we cannot control that. We can only control what WE DO right here and now. We can only control OUR actions. We cannot, nor should we try to control the Earth. We need to control OURSELVES. So environmentalism IS important. In fact, it is ALL important. Humans have an obligation to not FUCK UP that which was not ours to begin with.

He would speak of the Hopi Indians, over development, and how we're fucking up the planet. Then, he makes a JOKE about environmentalists and you retards take him seriously. He was making an observation about those who claim to be for the planet but still use things that not kill the planet but limit our ability to live on her.He knew the symbiotic relationship we share with the planet and wanted us to realize it through exaggeration. All I see with nuevo environmentalists is working with the politicians to make them look like they are doing the right thing. Bike paths, parks, and they could care less as to the chemical and genetic matter that people are consuming every day. All is to put a community into more debt so that they have to move due to raised taxes. I have an oil well of bubble wrap in my attic. The only thing that appears to be increasing in value.
