Video Description:
His world was characterized by violence, alcoholism, and abuse, but young Donnie McClurkin found a safe haven in his church, Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, Assemblies of God. It was there, at the age of nine, when he made a commitment to Christ. Throughout his troubled youth, amidst the strife of daily life, he learned to stand on the promises in the scripture. "A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men." (Prov 18:16) "I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it" (Rev. 3:8). Donnie was born, and raised in Amityville, New York. Because of a God-given gift of music that ran in his family, Donnie formed the McClurkin Singers with his siblings, and a few close friends in 1979. It wasn't long after that when Donnie began to feel a calling to preach. He went on to meet gospel-legend Andrae Crouch, who became a mentor to him. Through that relationship, grew a friendship that would shape the entire course of Donnie's future.

I read it.. It is a one-sided opinion from a very confused and lost man. I have read many anti-god books. My conclusion, they have no hope. Christians have peace and are satisfied; it's hard if not imposable to talk them out of that. Why would I want to trade my filled life for an empty one? Duh!!

wow!! I am actually very impressed with you. You do know your stuff. However, I am sure you have been told time and time again by your preacher or others that you do need to be baptized. Yes, believing in God a major part of it but there are things you need to do also. Like living a moral life etc. Still being baptized is a good thing and everyone should strive for that!! Good Job!!

Read the whole bible several times. Didn;t see any evidence in it though. If you have read Dawkins books how do you explain such things as god making the eye the wrong way round, an a very poor design? Surely if he was perfect, and making us in his image our eye would be better arranged? Oh yes, The epistle to Philemon was based on a letter he wrote while being held inRome. The letter to Philemon was one of Paul's prison epistles, which he wrote while being held a prisoner in Rome.

I and my wife were baptized, all but one of my kids were baptized, and hopefully he will this summer at our annual church campout. We go down to the creek there at the campground and it is just an awesome time. Being baptize for me was just to show others that I have committed my life to Jesus. He died publicly and so I was baptized in a public setting. Asking Jesus into your life is the way to heaven. God Bless you, I cant wait to meet you its going to be great!

First of all, I didnt demand anything. As for Dawkins, I will not quote anything from that book. I will not because it is gibberish. I do not believe in evolution as defined by Dawkins, Darwin, Hawking or any other tool of the enemy. I will only speak of truth. I am a creationist; I believe that God formed birds as they are. To give any other answer would go against what I believe. Even though your interpretation of Philemon was inaccurate, I was surprised by the emotion in what you wrote.

Oh! I have been so busy, just saw this message. Its interesting how people just say things with so much confidence when they are not sure.
You cannot deny something you have experiences and if you think there is no documented evidence of people who where amputated and got healed. You are only TOO wrong. The truth is I do not like to get into unecessary arguements becaue I know some people are not looking for the truth but are just intent of prooving what they beilieve to be true.
