| Its sad that people are too busy fighting about the war because they want it to end because its not convient. War takes time but so does rebuilding. It took Germany 10 years til its FIRST democratic elections after WW2 and they has old SS running around bombing schools, American soldiers, etc. The only difference between then and now? we are spoiled brats who are impatient. | I agree with the heckler and applaud his service to humankind. He had poise and got his message out very well. Did you notice the Senator refer to Condi as Madame Rumsfeld afterward? That was sweet. But not as sweet as the Republicans who are now breaking ranks with fascist regime to whom Condi owes her allegiance and her future. |

The banks don't pull money out of thin air, they use the money that people deposit there (savings, checking, etc.) That's why, during the depression, when, in massive numbers, people didn't pay back their loans the banks were unable to give people their deposits.
