Okay, here's why they made it so easy: Deal or no Deal is one of the hardest game shows out there to win it all. The cases are algorithmically randomized for each taping/contestant, making it nearly impossible. They realized this and started throwing more million dollar cases in and whatnot to ensure that someone would eventually win. Otherwise people would label the show as rigged/impossible and stop watching.
