| I see what your saying. But there is a fine line between winning a war and losing. The Korean war is a good example. The North Koreans believe they won that war. While the Americans believe they won that war. The N. Koreans were the invaders. There goal was to take over the south. They failed at that but the Americans also failed at taking the north. So who won? The Americans did do what they set out to do. Defend the south. But failed at taking the North. |

| I served with ROK Marines and ROK Army (South)in the 1970s. I believe they could stand their ground against any North Koreans. It is not the prowess of a few elite forces or a mass of human combatants that will decide a final outcome. It is spit and vinegar that takes the day, not the ability to pound nails into boards with ones' forehead. Pit a handfull of properly armed U.S. or Royal Marines, Rangers or the like against a batallion of communist robots and the outcome will be for the West. |
