| I was trying to think what the most intense opening sequences are for movies. My friend said Empire Strikes Back (invasion of Rebel Base), I thought it was Gladiator, but S.P.R. definetly takes the cake. This is by far the most intense battle scene. |

| The war on the western front was really just a sideshow to the big battles in russia. 80% ov german military strength was on the eastern front against the USSR. All the western allies did was to make the war end quicker. The germans lost as many men to the US and Britain as they did against USSR in 1941. In 1941 the german army lost 750 000 men in Russia. In France the germans lost 400 000 men to the western allies and then another 200 000 before the end of the war. The real war was in Russia. |
